PHILOSOPHY OF THE RACE
Raid Téranga is a one week race in Senegal between the ocean and the sand dunes over 250 km, divided into six stages. Between Dakar and Saint- Louis with the crossing of St. Louis bridge as the summit of your efforts. Raid Téranga is also and above all a philosophy of discovering a culture of hospitality. The Festival A Sahel Ouvert is organized by the public interest association GLOBE, whose slogan is "know your culture". It was born in 2010 from the will of Senegalese and French artists to bring culture to the heart of the populations who have the least access, by associating NGOs specialized in development. In a unique approach in Africa, the Festival A Sahel Ouvert favors rural anchoring and, above all, relies on the involvement of local populations.
