Raid Teranga

Téranga 250 «  will be the Paris-Dakar of extrem trail runners. A sport achievement and the discovery of a country full of colors and emotions.Raid Téranga will be what you make of it : a race to authenticity, an individual effort for a pure and sometimes hostile environment. 

With the pink Lac as a witness, you will meet simple but true people throughout the race, and you will eventually know all the mystery and sincerity behind Téranga.

PHILOSOPHY OF THE RACE

Raid Téranga is a one week race in Senegal between the ocean and the sand dunes  over 250 km, divided into six stages. Between Dakar and Saint- Louis with the crossing of St. Louis bridge as the summit of your efforts. Raid Téranga is also and above all a philosophy of discovering a culture of hospitality. Raid Téranga will be what you make of it : a race to authenticity, an individual effort for a pure and sometimes hostile environment.

 

Festival du Sahel Ouvert
Place: Mboumba Podor  (24 Feb 2018 - 27 Feb 2018 )


The Festival A Sahel Ouvert is organized by the public interest association GLOBE, whose slogan is "know your culture". It was born in 2010 from the will of Senegalese and French artists to bring culture to the heart of the populations who have the least access, by associating NGOs specialized in development. In a unique approach in Africa, the Festival A Sahel Ouvert favors rural anchoring and, above all, relies on the involvement of local populations. He defends a vision for the future: culture for development! "The fight against poverty begins there. Put the culture forward. This is how we will meet the challenges of the millennium. A sun is rising. We believe in African youth. We believe in you! " Baaba Maal, guest artist and godfather of the first edition, during his closing concert of the 2010 festival

Dak'Art Biennale
Place: Dakar  (03 May 2018 - 02 Jun 2018 )

The Biennale is held in Dakar to create a platform for African artists to place their works in the International arena.
